The Wilhelm Peterson-Berger Society was founded in 1950. Its purpose is, in co-operation with the Wilhelm Peterson-Berger Foundation in Östersund, to spread and maintain the knowledge of Peterson-Berger's musical and literary works. Through the years, the Society has initiated a large number of recordings, the printing of previously non-published works, and arranged a number of concerts.
At our meetings, chamber concerts are arranged for the members, where prominent singers and instrumentalists perform music by Peterson-Berger and his contemporaries.
A membership of the Peterson-Berger Society is open to all. The Society is based in Stockholm, but members are accepted from all over the world. Its protector is His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf.
The membership fee entitles to discounts in certain record shops, and a reduced or free entrance fee to certain concerts and arrangements. Please contact the board for further information.
Our Plusgiro account number is 34 48 22 - 2.
